Inktober '17 Day 17 - Villain - Azizi

Real life has kinda gotten in the way for a while. But I did manage to slowly get back to writing bios here and there. So. There's that!

So I followed this prompt for Inktober, named Super People. You come up with heroes and villains depending on the day. So I thought it would be a good exercise in creating characters and pushing ideas from time to time, because trying to be an actual art guy. Whoda Thunk it.

So this is Day 17, the Villain Prompt is "The Nightmare".

I gave the guys on my Patreon the high res versions of these a while back. So here you go.

With Azizi, he was one of the first villains I kinda was able to put two and two together with when I concepted him. I figured he'd give you your greatest dreams...but it'd only end up as a nightmare and a total screw job. So like, if one needed him and asked for "Wealth" he'd be like "Sure!" They'd get it, but it would be something that ended up getting your entire family murdered and you not even able to spend it or something. He doesn't even care if he gets kids wrapped up in it too. And yes, he is responsible for the ghost kid's situation! And many others.

Powers :

Immortality – Azizi has been around for a VERY. VERY long time. He aint going anywhere any time soon unless someone can figure out a way to remove him.

Reality Warping – He has the ability to change a lot of things. Which does make many people wonder just...what the hell is he?

Wish Granting – His more well known ability, as a smaller section of his true abilities. He often gets people to give into taking him up on wishes, always eventually biting to those who do not expect it in the back.


Alignment : Chaotic Evil.

Mini Bio :

This man...this being.

None know his true origin. It’s been said there was a time...long ago, where a man was struggling with a need...a wish...a want. Out of the black sands, slowly rose a man of olive skin, dark brown hair, and a friendly smile. But while his smile was friendly, the look in his eyes almost felt like the man was staring right through him. His need was strong...intense...and the mystery man only offered help. The man’s desperation caused him to accept help...and with that. The boulder he needed help moving...was gone.

Weeks later...that same man died a horrible death.

To men...women...children, he always appeared, a friendly smile, an outstretched hand. Always willing to help...although their wants may always eventually backfire, or bring an even greater calamity to their lives.

To the spirit that so few know as Azizi...he is gone almost as fast as he appears.

And as long as there is always a desperate want.

He will give them...what they need.
