----------------------

Name : Cersi Baptiste

Alias : Wild Card, Gambit, Smile From Hell

Age : 22 years old.

Hair Color : Blue.

Eye Color : Orange.

Race : Upper Superhuman

Nationality : Greek.

Skin Color : Light Toned.

Height : 6’ 3”

Weight : 342 lbs. (muscle and bone density)

Family ( and people she considers so ) : Othello (Father) , Antiope (Mother, unknown), Zephyr (Master), Marta (Younger Sister, alive).

Occupation : “Superheroine“… in a way.

Fighting Style : Self Taught Style with a mixture of a style called “Black Shoot Style“ which is a mix of hand to hand moves with uses of chi bursts and elemental manipulation using chi.

Build : Powerfully built, yet feminine.

Personality : Cersi is as succinctly as possibly explained, a complete and total wild child. She is not completely sane in any aspect, if one could consider her insane in the first place. She can be pretty emotional, and takes little caution into whatever situation she gets in. Cersi is very over protective of things she considers her own, mainly being her family and her “turf” being the city. She doesn’t mind inducing fear amongst the population, although she ends up doing so on accident. She doesn’t think much of being a hero, just someone that’s defending something they care about. Little bothers this vagabond, but she can be quick to anger when her city and or family are endangered. She’s not beyond reasoning with…you just need to think up a good enough “deal”.

Likes : Her Fathers Pancakes, hearing Zephyrs stories, Training herself, the look on some peoples faces when she gives them a glare, beating up on others who seem to not take a hint to get out of her face, Defeating anyone who challenges her, learning new tricks and moves, male or females who impress her.

Dislikes : Stories of her mother, Losing badly (she loses at times, she just cant stand utter beatings) , people who constantly attack the city, guys and girls who hit on her that she has literally no interest in.

Danger Level : Cersi is a brutishly cunning fighter who has many good traits, and very few bad ones. But one of her most powerful assets, is her sheer unpredictability. She has a few core moves that she knows works from training, but she usually spends most of the time trying to experiment with new moves before she’s ever serious. This woman is someone you NEVER want to anger and have her want to come after you. She is considered a N/A Class 1.5 rank fighter due to her unique brutal style which can be a mix of fluidity and hard hitting attacks which would mess up anyone’s day, and her large supply of moves that could keep anyone guessing, with SSSSS rank for physical endurance and focus due to her natural physiology, her chi manipulation and the intense training that has her in the form she has now. Her mind abilities are considered as X rank for having a higher than above average intellect, with a very creative and unique mind usually able to react to several situations, and her physical strength is considered XXX+ rank in for having a decently low amount of ultra human strength that shes able to wield quite well. Her spiritual energy is registered as XXX rank due the vastness of energy she has and the ways she can manipulate it to help her in battle. Taking these into account, her overall danger rank is at N/A Class .5.

There was much mystery that surrounded the being who was originally known, or thought of as the name of Antiope Baptiste. The only thing that was solid, or even well known was that she left behind a husband, and a child in their home city of Lunitera. Even when asked about questions about his wife, Othello couldn’t give honest answers, cause even he himself didn’t have much memories left of Antiope. One constant reminder…was her legacy, that being her child, Cersi. Cersi and her father were abandoned by her mother roughly 9 months after her birth, Othello reawakening in the morning having vague or faint memories of Antiope, just simply a note saying, “Im Sorry.” He wasn’t sure what had gone wrong at that point, but he knew at the very least, he had to do what he could to raise his child. The first years were tough… his blue haired daughter constantly asking for her mother, the feeling of being unloved, disliked, it all rotted in the childs head. Othello tried hard to ensure his child had him to lean back on, and nothing more else to worry about. That he swore to himself.

As young and impressionable as Cersi was at her young age, she was very attentive, although she would look somewhat out of it most of the time. She paid attention to detail, to how things were done, and would mentally beat herself up every time she felt like she did something wrong. Othello tried to ensure she didn’t feel that way, but deep down inside, Cersi didn’t feel whole, or complete. Things continued as normal for two more years… but as she matured to the age of 9, it was then that her life began to change.

The young girl had finally started to feel welcomed and liked by her peers, although she had very few friends when younger, she had many more now. Cersi did well in school, and always seemed to charm the teachers and the like. But as one bully who constantly showed dislike for her, asked her to fight him after school, the girl felt an odd calling to do so. As much as she wanted to decline, something in the back of her head, and deep within her heart, said “Beat him until he stops breathing!” As she took the “ring” the children surrounding the two gladiators, Cersi just stood still, her hands shaking a little out of anxiety. As the bigger, and apparently stronger young boy rushed in, Cersi froze, and was hit right between the eyes, sending her sprawling back, rolling on the ground. The girl laid still for a long moment, motionless, as she slowly forced herself to get up, something in her felt different. Her vision seemed somewhat hazy, but her senses felt so much more open, like she could see the life energy coming out of the ground.

She glanced up again to see this young man try to punt her face, quietly she dodged out of the way. What seemed to be so fast before, looked so much slower now. Cersi got to her feet and held her ground as she lightly uttered the word, " Punk…” That hit not only awakened something in her…but it started a somewhat chain reaction internally. He tried swinging at Cersi again, a left and a right, the girl quickly dodging no problem, and as she had an opening…threw a hellacious uppercut that shattered his jaw, forced most of his lower teeth out, and send him sprawling on the floor unconscious. The kids just stared… very few thought it was cool. The others were just wigged the fuck out and wanted their mothers and parents. She was taken into the Principals office, where Cersi was quickly and promptly told she was suspended. But as Cersi was picked up by her father and she was leaving the office, the girl said to the Principal, “Too bad your penis isn’t as big as your ego!” Before she left the doors….she was put on EXTENDED suspension.

Othello had no idea what had come over his daughter. The man worked 2 jobs, as a baker, and as a accountant, so he rarely tried to change his schedule for his daughter. He felt he had a part in Cersi’s random outburst, from lack of love. Cersi simply smiled and shook her head, explaining what had happened. How things felt dull before she was hit…and how she felt awake…and so alive once she was hit. As the girl continued to explain things, Othello’s eyes slowly widened. As much as Othello couldn’t believe the stuff that was coming out of Cersi’s mouth, he just had an odd feeling at the pit of his stomach that she was saying nothing but the truth He quickly ran down the hall, remaining silent, as Cersi continued saying things to herself, Othello made a call to an old family friend, who he felt could help with this.

The following morning there was a ring at the door. Cersi quietly ran up to it, opening it to find a woman in a trench coat, with tattered ends, a large hat, and sunglasses over her eyes as she simply walked in without the girls consent. Cersi tried talking to the woman, but when she looked at her, instead of seeing those “life” strings she was becoming accustomed to seeing, she saw nothing from her. The woman sat down as Othello called Cersi into the living room, and introduced her to the woman there. She never gave them her real name…but just the alias people knew her as… “Zephyr.” Zephyr started to explain to Cersi, what had exactly happened to her. As Cersi heard of how the punch to the face, and the force of her head hitting the ground, broke a seal that somewhat kept her in check, she simply blinked in utter surprise. The more the woman spoke of Cersi’s potential, the more Cersi wanted to use more of her supposed latent powers. Zephyr promised her a chance to do so…if her father agreed with her training with her, only coming home a day a week to be with her father until she felt she was ready to stay home more and come train when she needed. Othello promptly agreed, and shook the womans hand simply nodding with a small sigh, hoping for the best as he quietly waved, watching the somewhat solidly built, grey haired woman take Cersi away.

Cersi stepped through the doors of Zephyr’s school, quietly taking in the sights, she saw few other children, some teenagers, and one or two adults here and there. The mysterious woman explained her process of bringing in students, and simply left her with these words that made her somewhat fear and respect her at the exact same time, “Your potential may be much higher than anyone at this school…and you may get arrogant over time… but don’t you dare think of yourself as greater than I am…for if you slip for a moment…don’t think I wont kill you. And If I don’t get to you… Antiope if shes still alive…will.” Cersi got deathly silent, as she heard the name… she quietly uttered, “M..om…?” Zephyr smiled and said, “One and the same….now lets begin…if youre to become what you said you wanted to be.” With that said, the girl began her brutal, harsh training under the mysterious woman. 4 Years had gone by, as the once small, unsure 9 year old, had become a very athletic, and rather adept 13 year old. Ironically with age, she became a lot more unstable, emotions she wasn’t used to dealing with before surfacing. Although the only two she found solace in talking to, was Zephyr herself, and her father.

At 14, Cersi was considered one of the most gifted students at the school, if not THE most gifted one. Proud with her progress, Zephyr allowed Cersi to return home full time, and come up whenever she wanted more lessons or needed to train. As she returned, her father, somewhat happy by the fact she had returned hugged her, and gave her news that actually quelled her soul for a moment. That he was adopting a baby girl, and that she would be an older sister. Cersi enjoyed the thought, loosely considering to try and be a surrogate mother for the child, so she wouldn’t feel the longing that Cersi felt for her mother. After a few days, the child was brought home, and both decided to name her Marta. Cersi generally used her chi induced flight to get from home to the school frequently, but she made sure she was always around to help out with Marta and be there for her. The black haired, brown eyed child quickly became attached to her new family.

As Cersi aged, her personality remained roughly the same, although some of her priorities shifted. Cersi decided she would protect anything she deemed close to her, or was her own…in her case, that was her family and her city. She had progressively gained height, exponentially gained muscle mass, yet retaining her femininity. Cersi had easily become top student, and in some ways even surpassed Zephyr, although the womans experience and skill always overtook the young wild card in battle. Cersi was able to use her chi to manipulate many things…elements, weaponry, she had become a real master in her own right, although she felt she never truly was great, just good. She had made many rivals in the school, winning more than losing, but she took more from her losses, and if anything quickened the fights every single time.

One faithful day she was thrusted into the public eye during a standoff between police and a super powered terrorist with their followers. Unluckily for the terrorist, and the suspects, they had robbed a bank next to a restaurant that Cersi and her family were eating at. As they broke in, and screamed for everyone to get down…Cersi blinked, and slowly looked to them. With a simple eye twich she snapped, beating the unholy hell out of all of them, and leaving them there for the cops. As the cops came to thank her…she listened to how they thought she was a hero and a blessing in disguise. Cersi simply couldn’t think of anything else outside of the smell of the officers breath and how it annoyed her. As he finished speaking…she replied with a roundhouse that sent him right into the air, uttering,
“Not saving people… protecting my turf. Shut up and move.” The love…and fear began that day. Whenever things go wrong in Lunitera….they know their “savior” is there for them. As much as she wants to handle some personal things, she feels if she goes…shell lose her turf…and will be soo pissed.
