Personality : Iwa can be quite friendly, and is quite a loud mouth. Shes always anxious for a fight and usually doesn’t take no for an answer. She does have conflictual issues with her hollow, but she is able to keep a good hold on Awi at times. But when Awi has control, shes crazy, manipulative, and has an extreme tolerance for pain. She manipulates Riatsu so Iwa when she releases more, she gets a more powerful build…

Danger Level : Iwa has an incredible amount of Riatsu, only accompanied by the power the hollow Awi adds to her own. Iwa has incredible physical abilities swordswoman skills and a knack for battle that gives her a certain amount of ground that keeps her ahead of her enemies. Ranking her at X--

Iwa was the youngest member of the Hattori clan who lived in the 8th district. Iwa had a quiet, simple childhood, that did bring some attention to herself, for her parents tried to keep peoples attention from getting to her. Did she want the attention coming her way? No, but it came because she wasn’t as normal as she wished she could be. She was showing natural skills that would put normal older shinigami to shame, hence the Hattori‘s were always told they should put Iwa into the shinigami. Iwa not wanting to do that, but get into a life of being a simple wife was cut short.

There was a few members of the 11th Squad who went around the certain district, and caused suffering in that little district, asking for “rotection“ money. The people usually didn’t have much choice in the matter, and always complied, not saying anything to anger or upset them. But one day, as Iwa‘s father Sano was taking her for a walk, they had run into the most ruthless of the small group terrorizing the district. They simply told Sano, “Give us the money or well kill you and the kid…” Sano gave them all he had and that still wasn’t enough for them. They dragged Sano to a wall, and brutally killed him in front of her eyes, traumatizing her. Then seeing her as collateral, stabbed her and cut her up frequently, laughing manically as they did so. They walked away, leaving a bleeding, dying Iwa in the street, when an unfamiliar version of herself walked up to her. She looked a lot stronger built than the now teen Iwa. (I dunno how aging works in Bleach so spare me) But she looked almost exactly like her, except for one thing…a hole right under her breasts… and parts of white bone on her face, She grinned as she said, “I am your twin…Awi… and IM here to save you.” Iwa was confused…so Awi went more into detail…about how she died at their birth, and she assumed a spiritual form…which eventually turned her into what she was… She offered her sister the fact she could keep her alive. And give her the power that she could use to protect the ones she loved.

Awi did have power that Iwa had….but Iwa‘s was dormant as compared to Awi‘s that was already unleashed due to death. And due to her death, she matured much faster. Iwa seeing no other options before dying, absorbed Awi into her body. She quickly stood, hunted the two down…and killed them with her bare hands. She joined the Shinigami shortly afterwards, donning a more well built physique, and carried a zankaputo of her own, named Kuroyanagi. Its spiritual form was an African based woman in white robes, and her hair was made of tree branches and leaves. Awi quietly plotted on using her sister‘s body for taking back over, and getting another shot at life. And had that opportunity when Iwa reached Shikai and began training for bankai. But when Awi took control finally, she held control for quite some time, causing a slaughter and using Kuryanagi‘s power and her own sisters now awakening abilities for bad.

It didn’t take until a long internal battle for Iwa to finally take control once again…and to take the power of Kuroyanagi. Instantly, she was able to rip the currently 3 /4th mask off, that looked much like the mask that Awi once wore. As she ripped it off, her riatsu skyrocketed, and her power became incredible. She instantly went Bankai, and used the power to diminish the hollow allies that Awi picked up. Seeing her presence wasn’t needed in the Shinigami anymore, she quit quickly, becoming a rogue. She not only goes against the corrupt, but the hollow also, continuing the ongoing battle with her sister for control...
