|KICKS. ALL THE KICKS|
|MY PILE OF CRAP! 8D But in all seriousness. There will be some stuff there you probably won't like. So if you already don't like what you see in these thumbnails...then in all seriousness, you probably shouldn't bother looking.|
How long have you been on DeviantArt?
- 10 years. It's been a while, feel's like it but shit, I cant lie if I didn't love the good and bad parts that gave me good people around me.
What does your username mean? - My username aludes to two things. One, Black because...Im black, and Kusanagi belongs to my favorite King of Fighters character. So giving respect to Kyo.
Describe yourself in three words. - Imaginative, Relaxed, Unsure.
Are you left or right handed? - RIght
What is your favourite type of art to create? - Would have to be OC art. While I have a lot of characters who dance along the lines of Comic'ish to Manga'ish...then again both are my biggest inspirations that aren't US Animation.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? - Sculpture. There's a lot of beauty there. I mean it's kinda good stuff there. Lotta good stuff there.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? - Drawings. No offense to the 3D guys, but...something about 2D always touches a soft spot for me.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? - This is an incredibly hard question to answer. A lotta people affected me and kinda got me into arting...or at times got me to continue arting. 's art on an old She-Hulk forum was what originally got me wanting to draw more, and over the years as I've saw him evolve I just kinda sit back and go wow all the time because just when I think I cant get more blown away, POOF there it goes. 's unique art style hit me hard in Middle School and early High School. I mean over the years I tried to keep looking and still no matter what he still utterly blows me away. 's art was something I always admired and envied to be honest. I love the guy to death but I mean...dang he's good lol. 's strong paint like style always seems to hit me on a deep level too. 's art always was real good to me, I loved his painting style and his work on weapon or timepiece styled art, his anatomy was striking. 's cartoonish style has always been one of my favorite styles, and just how his humor makes it work so well too. 's Dragon Ball art always was pretty awesome to me for the longest time, and I loved how it always kinda felt as close to the Manga as possible and as I've seen his thought processes here and there through other social outlets, I cant help but still be amazed. ... well. I dont need to go into anymore than that. The girl's redonkulous. 's artstyle is another I just kinda always find myself just staring at for a while and just finally saying "Dayum" when it's all over. I look up to him. I honestly do. 's catalog of characters, and how theres such an intricate tale inbetween all of em, inspire me to continue to do the same with my own. Also helps I've always been a major fan of his art. So as I said. While theres many more I could say, these people atm come to mind on my abbreviated list since im trying to touch a few different parts on my list.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? - I've met a lot of people actually. From to the great man of , and the long overdue and when it did happen fucking legendary bromeet of myself and (Known that guy for damn near 11-12 years people. Known just about that long too). I'd probably wanna meet , Or shit even Ryan Ottley cause Invincible continues to blow my damn mind.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? - Hrm. Well. As I mentioned before, RedSilver got me into arting a bit more, while the great CM added to it. 's art made me wanna explore looking at actual Bodybuilders for reference here and there a bit more often, and, I have to say, the list goes on. A lot of the people close to me and talk to me in my inner circle all do impact me. I cant say who has impacted me the most. But I love my circle. And those who are there through the good / bad.
What are your preferred tools to create art? - I used to be kinda Traditional...but I've realized these days I cant traditional to save my life. Then again I've been kinda failing digitally, but I am gladly trying to get back into it. It aint easy, but then again everything you want never really is, is it? But as of late, it's primarily been Painter, Photoshop 7.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? - My room. Lotta tools around me to give me that.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? ....Theres many. From the good ole SAA days, to when I had my Black Moon High group that was kinda fun when it did last. But...as it stands, probably best memory for now, was during the days of Elysian Academy, met a lot of people, met some of them in real life and we've become good friends. and a few others loved the craziness I used to put the room through, but shit, it was good times, and it was...an easier time then. If I were to include IRL memories...would be the time I roomed with , , and at Otakon. Bromoments were maximums. And getting to hang out with was funderful also.
Not much to know about me. I go on...I get by. I live as best I can. I just hope I don't bore you along the way. Either way, this is me.|
For IM related inquiries, do ask me. I does have AIM, YIM, Skype, MSN, and ICQ.
And I dont add people on Facebook unless I really feel Im cool with em. So yeah.
Hate people who feel they cant say shit to someone's faces sometimes. Kinda childish if you ask me... Also another pet peeve are two faced folk. Outside of that...not much.
