So. Im here. In an internet cafe, in the only mall in the area (which was opened 2 years ago). Only place I can get net (which is about a 10 minute drive from my current living quarters at my Uncles house) , and it was by accident, or I would have brought my laptop and posted some pictures for you guys. But yeah. Im here. Ironically Im staying about 9 minutes from the Airport.

I dont live in a hut, or a tree. I live in a house. A house where we have gates with glass shards all over the top parts to stop thievery due to poverty here. Ive been physically raped by mosquitoes since ive gotten here, and Ive constantly been in fear, hoping to god none of them give me Malaria. I miss the diversity... I mean its nice to be around my parents people, but its not so great when its all you see. Like a random white or asian person every once in a blue moon (But I am suprised to see like 4 chinese resturants near where I am.) I have to warm water using a kettle then mix it with cold water in hopes I can have a warm bath. I have to do a lot of things to get the toilet working. Almost been killed by a car about 40 times, since Ive seen the most insane driving here cause people in Osu and Accra just dont give a fuck. All in all...

Its already day four, and I wish it was day Thirty.

Kinda sick of this. I mean dont get it twisted, glad to see the place of my roots. So glad to be here. But...and I repeat, BUT. Mom's not making this trip any easier. My little cousin who I couldnt stand his presence at home whos here with us, isnt making this easier. My aunts who traveled with us isnt making this any easier. And the fact I still havent had a chance to call the people at home, to say hi and all that, only able to get a quick facebook message up, isnt making things ANY EASIER. I MEAN SHIT I CANT EVEN DRAW HERE.

But hey. Im supposed to be enjoying this, although I got the proverbial short end of the stick. I still havent met the people on my dad's side of mi familia yet, and I still await one aunt and two cousins to get off the plane tommorrow. BTW, its 6:45 PM right now. So we go off of Brit time.

Im so miserable I even sleep earlier, although I have to fear Mosquitoes and the small chance of a snake sneaking into the house. All and all, you never know how good you got it till youre gone. So I only wish for AMERIKUH in my future sometime soon. Ill give yall another progress report when I can again. Till then I gotta sift through messages. Till then people.
